Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how In-Sight Analytics ("In-Sight", "we"), a product of ExciteData, handles information when you visit our website or use our platform. We keep it plain: we collect the minimum we need, we don't sell your data, and your operational data stays yours.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide when requesting a demo (name, work email, company, role, message).
- Account data for platform users (name, email, workspace membership, role).
- Operational data you connect or upload: sensor readings, findings, documents. This is processed to deliver the service and is not used to train models for other customers.
- Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics to improve the product.
How we use it
- To provide, operate, and secure the platform.
- To respond to demo requests and support enquiries.
- To improve reliability and features, using aggregated, de-identified signals.
Your data stays yours
Your operational data and documents are processed solely to deliver the service to you. We do not sell it, and we do not use one customer's data to benefit another. AI features are grounded in your own data and documents, with provenance you can inspect.
Sharing
We share data only with sub-processors necessary to run the service (e.g. cloud hosting and AI model providers), under agreements that protect it, and where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Security & retention
We apply role-based access controls, encryption in transit, and audit logging. We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and delete or de-identify it on request where we are not legally required to keep it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us at hello@insight-analytics.io and we'll respond promptly.
